Volunteer Opportunties
AVANZAR is always looking for compassionate volunteers to support survivors in need. Join us by becoming a Crisis Advocate Volunteer for our Domestic Violence/Sexual Violence Programs. A 40-hour training and support will be provided through mandatory in-services volunteer training and meetings by our Confidential Sexual Violence Advocate (CSVA) Coordinator and our Domestic Violence Response Team (DVRT) Coordinator.
Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault (DV/SA) Crisis Volunteer Advocates provide direct crisis intervention services by phone support and one-on-one support.
