VOLUNTEER CRISIS ADVOCATES NEEDED

AVANZAR needs trained Volunteer Crisis Advocates throughout Atlantic County. Advocates are specially trained volunteers who are on call to support individuals through crisis. This training allows the volunteer to work directly with survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking. This support takes place at a police station or hospital within Atlantic County.

There is a required 40-hour training program along with observation and direct experience on our crisis hotline.

For information about volunteering, please contact our Volunteer Crisis Advocate Coordinator, Monique Corbitt at 609-601-9925 ext. 1031 or e-mail us at monique.corbitt@avanzarnow.org
