WHAT I CAN DO
AVANZAR is always looking for interested, energetic and diverse members of the community to help us accomplish our goals. Here’s what you can do:
Volunteer
- Call: 609-601-9925 ext.1031 to become an AVANZAR Volunteer Crisis Advocate and bring a friend!
Invite a Speaker
- Call: 609-601-9925 ext.1016 to help disseminate information about our services and the vital issues they address by inviting a representative from AVANZAR to speak with your organization, group, and club or at your school. Training programs and workshops may also be arranged.
Make Referrals
- If you know someone who needs our services, encourage him/her to call us. Help is always available and our services are free and confidential.

Contribute
As a non-profit organization, our success depends largely upon the financial support of our community.
- Monetary contribution of a one-time donation or an automatic process may be set up to make donations quarterly, semiannually or annually. Automatic process donations are simple and secure through our website. Check with your employer to see if they participate in a matching gift program.
- Appreciated Stock represents the transfer of stock at its current market value.
- Life Insurance which designates AVANZAR as a beneficiary.
- Retirement Plan Benefits allow a donor to name AVANZAR as a death beneficiary for their retirement plan and/or IRA account.
- Charitable Trust Funds: Depending on the type of trust, the donor can arrange for regular distribution to AVANZAR for a certain number of years of lifetime(s), or for an ultimate distribution when the trust is terminated.
